Jonathan is an Aerospace Engineering major. Jonathan came to UCF because of it’s strong engineering program. He was impressed with the wealth of connections that the College of Engineering and Computer Science has with local, national, and global industries from start ups like Limbitless, to global contractors such as Lockheed Martin. When he joined EXCEL, he wasn’t completely confident with his math skills. As an engineer, solidifying his math skills were key to his success and Jonathan credits EXCEL to helping him achieve just that! In February of 2021, Jonathan was selected to become a member of the inaugural Dean’s Leadership Council for the Burnett Honors College. Jonathan looks forward to representing the Burnett Honors college as the youngest member of the new council, as well as partaking in EXCEL’s Undergraduate Research Experience next year.
