GEMS is a mentorship program for incoming EXCEL first-year students. This mentorship program pairs EXCEL upper-division students (mentors) with first-year EXCEL students (mentees). The program provides opportunities for networking with role models (from academia and industry) and social events to increase the bonds between the EXCEL first-year students, older peers, faculty and UCF staff involved with the EXCEL program.
