Hi, I'm Sarah Sheehan and I'm a computer science major. I am going into my second year at UCF. I graduated from Apopka High School in Apopka, Florida which is only about 45 minutes from campus. One my favorite classes at UCF so far has been Intro to C Programming with Professor Lobo. He was an amazing teacher and really cared about his student's success. He would even have out of class review sessions before a test that he would attend and help students at. I also love my EXCEL math classes so far. I've had Professor Pyle for Pre‐Calculus and Calculus 1 and have enjoyed her and the classes a lot. I became involved in GEMS as a mentee and had an amazing experience with my mentor and mentor group. I like to listen to music, do makeup, and sleep in my free time. A piece of advice I'd like to pass on is to take advantage of all the resources that EXCEL provides because they have really helped me succeed in my classes.
