My current major is Computer Engineering but I am not sure if I want to pursue that major or a different Engineering major. I finished in the high school class of 2009 at Bloomingdale Senior High School in Valrico, Florida. I really do not have a favorite professor nor do I dislike any of my current or past professors. Most of my professors really care for their students and always make their classes enjoyable which is nice because no college class is easy no matter how smart you are. I really love playing soccer, working out, hanging out with my friends, and just sitting at home watching movies all night in bed after a long week of school and work. What I like about the GEMS program is meeting other females in my major or other ones similar to mine. I enjoy helping the girls because I was once there and know how they feel and what they are thinking. Your freshman year is very critical and getting off on a good foot is key to success. Being able to help this select group of girls succeed in their freshman year brings a smile to my face. It also brings me happiness knowing that I helped someone make good decisions that would determine their future not only in college but for the rest of their lives as a STEM professional.
