Miguel Rivera earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Mississippi State University in 2022 and is currently pursuing an M.S. in Industrial Engineering at the University of Central Florida. He brings three years of industry experience as a Manufacturing Engineer with Milwaukee Tool, where he focused on manufacturing processes and continuous improvement. During the summer of 2026, he also completed a Project Engineer internship with Forgen, gaining experience in project planning, coordination, and execution.

Miguel is in his second year working with the EXCEL program and has academic experience supporting student success through tutoring in mathematics and physics. His professional interests include Process Optimization, Manufacturing Systems, and Project Management, with a passion for applying engineering principles to improve operational efficiency and deliver impactful solutions.
