Profile

My name is Kelly Boone, and I am a senior majoring in Electrical Engineering. I graduated from Dr. Phillips High School in Orlando, FL, in 2008. My favorite subject at UCF has always been math, but if I were to narrow it down, I would choose either Calculus III or Differential Equations. My favorite professor is Dr. Moore, who taught both my Calculus I and Calculus II class. He was the first college professor I had who really wanted to connect with his students and have them enjoy learning from his class. A big reason I love the GEMS program is that it offers EXCEL female freshmen, who are often overwhelmed by the new college experience, an outlet to someone close to their age for questions and other problems that they may not be comfortable talking about with someone else. A few of my favorite hobbies are playing volleyball, watching the NBA (especially the Orlando Magic), playing cards, having fun with friends, and traveling.
