Profile

My name is Juliette Pimbert, and I am a sophomore at the University of Central Florida, studying Aerospace Engineering. I graduated from Doral Academy Charter Highschool and have been passionate about space exploration since I was young. I really enjoy taking physics classes because I love solving problems and doing the interesting labs that they have to offer. My favorite professor is Dr. Tong Wan, who has been very kind and even gave me a research position in physics education.

I decided to get involved with the GEMS/COMPASS program because it gave me the opportunity to be part of a community of like-minded people. I find it beneficial to be around people who share my interests and I hope to learn from others as well.

For incoming EXCEL/COMPASS freshmen, my advice is to take advantage of all the resources available on campus and to get involved in extracurricular activities to meet new people.

When I’m not studying or doing research, I enjoy playing video games and connecting with my friends. I love playing Sims 4, League of Legends, and Overwatch 2. I believe that it’s important to have a balance between school and social life to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
