My name is Isabel Shashaty, and I am starting my sophomore year for the 2019-2020 school year. I am a Biology major with a Pre-Vet track. I graduated from Archbishop McCarthy High School in 2018. One of my favorite classes has been English Composition II with Stuart Dees. I love to write, and he really helped me become a better writer. I also really loved Biology I and II, as it’s a subject I find super interesting. I wanted to get involved in GEMS because I wanted to be the person that helps new students meet new people, make new friends, and learn how to navigate UCF. I found my mentor to be super helpful in navigating my first year and connecting me with so many wonderful people. When I’m not working, I like to watch Netflix, read books, and hang out with friends.
