Isabel Carvalho is a fourth-year EXCEL student seeking a B.S. in Biomedical Sciences and a minor in Psychology. She previously served as a COMPASS mentor for the Fall 2020 semester before transitioning to be the COMPASS Lead Mentor for the 2021-2022 academic year. She also is a long-time volunteer at Nemours Children’s Hospital and conducts neuroscience research with the Dr. King lab in the College of Medicine. Following her graduation in Spring 2022, Isabel hopes continue at UCF as a Master’s student and eventually attend UCF’s Medical School. Isabel is excited to continue working with the COMPASS students and helping freshman succeed in STEM!
