Profile

Clare is a fourth-year Ph.D. student in Chemistry at the University of Central Florida (UCF) and a Graduate Teaching Assistant with the EXCEL and COMPASS programs. She earned her B.S. in Forensic Science with a minor in Leadership Studies and completed her M.S. degree in Chemistry while pursuing her Ph.D. Her current research with Dr. Candice Bridge focuses on the forensic analysis of personal lubricants using mass spectrometry to improve the interpretation of evidence in sexual assault investigations. Previously, she has also conducted research involving forensic explosive analysis and the chemical examination of a potential Pablo Picasso painting. Beyond research, Clare has a passion for mentoring and teaching students and is committed to helping them build confidence and succeed in STEM disciplines.
